Considers that for instance unequal pay, pension benefits and insurance charges tend to put women in a more vulnerable economic and social situation; therefore calls on the Member States to enhance the reconciliation between work and family life by concrete measures, such as improving transparency of pay and recruitment procedure, enabling flexible working hours and balancing costs of parenthood;
