Points to the fact that the cultural and creative industries contribute to maintaining Europe’s immense cultural, historical and architectural heritage; highlights that the cultural and creative sectors are of huge interest to tourists from both the EU and non-EU countries; believes that, in view of this added value, the cultural and in particular the creative sectors should be strongly supported by the future EU budget as they bring with them important economic opportunities;
