Points out that eHealth must foster mutual trust between patients and health professionals and that the development of eHealth applications requires not only IT infrastructure and digital literacy, but also measures concerning confidentiality, data protection and liability, in order to ensure that sensitive data are protected from hacking or other forms of abuse.

6a. Emphasises that eHealth applications must be accessible to everyone. When developing any product or software application, accessibility should be a mandatory condition, in order to prevent that inequality in regard to access will not occur;
