Points out that the link between education and training, particularly the pathway from vocational to higher education, demands changes from learning institutions to cope with the difficulties linked to the differences in teaching and learning styles, and that more suitable teacher training is therefore necessary; considers at the same time that switching between training and employment ensures that those who receive vocational training acquire the skills in demand on the labour market;
