Calls on the Member States to conduct gender-specific impact assessments before, implementing austerity policie taking decisions, so that women will not be disproportionately affected, and calls on the Commission and the Member States to prepare – using the abovementioned statistics and impact assessments – recovery policies that reflect the specific needs and circumstances of women and men, particularly through the use of gender mainstreaming and gender budgeting;
