Regrets that the Troika put a heavy pressure on national authorities in order to end the moratorium on evictions for inhabitants victims, while those people were severely hit by the crisis and by austerity measures, therefore unable to bear the costs of their mortgage credit; recommends to Member states and their local authorities to set up neutral housing policies favouring social and affordable housing, to tackle the issue of housing vacancy and to implement effective prevention policies to reduce the number of evictions.
