Reiterates its support for the Commission’s European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps initiative intended to help the EU to respond more effectively to humanitarian crises by providing support for the training, mobilisation and coordination of volunteers for EU humanitarian aid operations; calls on the Member States to protect the voluntary sector against unscrupulous commercial firms which are misappropriating the term ‘volunteering’ in the humanitarian tourism sector;
