Insists that the Commission and the Member States should make every effort to ensure that the EU budget is spent in an efficient way; and that anything financed with it should have a clear European added value. Member States should notably share tasks wherever possible and increase their cooperation;

Insists that the Agencies should have adequate resources to implement the systems and projects which were recently approved; considers, therefore, that the budget of EASO should be increased sufficiently to allow the agency to fulfill its many tasks; and that the budget of the Frontex Agency should be increased to provide them with sufficient resources to operate Eurosur;
