Considers that the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) has a major role to play in the assessment and notification of all risks associated with the food chain as part of a set of measures designed to protect the health and wellbeing of the public; hopes that all Member States will set up corresponding national bodies to collaborate with the European Food Safety Authority;
