Calls on the EU to better engage Member State authorities, universities, businesses and financial institutions with a view to making full use of EU funding sources (e.g. the EFSI, the ESF, the ERDF, COSME, Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+) so as to help overcome the difficulty in accessing finance which is still one of the main barriers to the growth of SMEs, particularly for those that consider themselves social economy enterprises;
