5. Believes that the research and innovation should focus on growth-inhibiting factors stemming from the changing climate, includingconsider the possible proliferation of plant and animal diseases. T due in particular to climate change; the advancement of knowledge in the sustainable management, production and use of biological resources (microbial, plant and animal) will provide the basis for safer, more eco-efficient and competitive products and services for agriculture and related industries;
