42. Emphasizes the positive role played by the EUMM Georgia observation mission, particularly in supporting dialogue and the restoration of confidence-building measures between the parties, but regrets that this mission is still not allowed to visit the occupied territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, where Russia has been recognized as an occupation force by the European Parliament, NATO, Council of Europe and some Member States;
