Strongly believes that comprehensive preventive actions against NCDs, through measures supporting the elimination or reduction of harm caused by modifiable risk factors, should be implemented across all European policies and funding programmes; calls on the Commission and the Member States to integrate public awareness-raising campaigns about NCDs prevention into all relevant policies; strongly believes that preventive actions should be evidence- based; therefore, calls on the Commission and Member States to increase the funding for scientific research into the causes of NCDs and the efficiency and implementation of preventive measures;
