Believes that the various experiments with minimum incomes, accompanied by social integration measures, show that this is a further essential way of combating poverty and social exclusion; therefore calls on the European Commission to prepare an initiative supporting these experiments, taking into account best practices and ensuring an adequate minimum income throughout the European Union as a means to prevent poverty and guarantee social justice and equal opportunities for all, without calling into question the specific situations in each Member State;
