Considers that migrant workers should be able to communicate in one of the official languages of their Member State of residence and become familiar with their rights and obligations as well as with the fundamental values of the European Union and of their Member State of residence; to this end, calls on the Member States to provide language training to migrant workers together with training programmes on the fundamental values of the European Union and of the Member State of residence and on their rights and obligations;
