22. Calls forInsists that account to be taken of specific cases and specialthat fair and personalised treatment to be given to vulnerable passengers (in terms of health and communication), such as pregnant women, children, elderly people and, people with disabilities, and people with implanted medical devices (e.g. orthopaedic prostheses and pacemakers); , as well as all persons having with them the medicines and/or medical devices needed to maintain their health (e.g. syringes, insulin); considers, with this in mind, that there is a need for a full list to be compiled of the types of medical devices and medicines which may be taken on board in hand baggage;

30. Calls on the Commission, in conjunction with the Member States, to draw up a code of conduct on the use of security scanners which requires airports to carry out scanning in such a way as to respect passengers’the effects this has on passengers’ health as well as their fundamental human rights;
