RecallWelcomes the introduction of a human-rights-based approach (HRBA) in EU development policy aimed at integrating human rights principles into EU operational activities for development; calls for greater dissemination of the HRBA toolboxrecalls that the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has now been ratified by more than 160 countries and that implementing the principles enshrined in that convention is therefore also of fundamental importance for development policy; calls for greater dissemination of the HRBA toolbox - including the rights of persons with disabilities – among our partners, and for its implementation to be closely monitored by the Commission;
