In accordance with the 'Report on the EU strategy on Roma inclusion (2010/2276(INI))', calls on the Commission and the Member States to put special emphasis on the role of the Cohesion and Structural Funds in the integration of the Roma; thus recommends the introduction of administrative tools which ensure that development projects contribute to the reduction of inequalities between the Roma and non-Roma communities - similarly to the compulsory use of horizontal approach regarding environmental sustainability and gender equality;
