Acknowledges the important contribution to implementation of the new elementobjectives of the reformed Common Fisheries Policy made by the Agency; welcomes the Agency's close engagement with the Member States to preparorganise the monitoring of the landing obligation by improving the control and surveillance of fisheries activities, brokering cooperation, promoting interoperability and building common capacities;

6a. Points out that the policy objectives of the reformed CFP mean that control and coordination of these objectives play a crucial role and that it is therefore necessary to enhance the financial and human resources available to the Agency;
