Points out however that the application of the DCFTA will also bring about structural and political reforms; questions in this regard the current EU position, which makes the political reforms a precondition for the conclusion of the Association Agreement and consequently the DCFTA; calls on the Commission to examine the possibilities of initialling and implementing the DCFTA regardless of the conclusion of the Association Agreement, i.e. as an ad interim agreement;
