Takes note of the Court's comments on the following points: even though the level of appropriations carried over to the following year was much lower than in 2007, the level of cancellations of the appropriations carried over from the previous financial year was high and thus at odds with the principle of annuality; some shortcomings in the planning and recruitment procedures and weaknesses at the level of the monitoring of contracts and the programming of procurements, and finally some problems related to staff selection procedures; notes Eurojust's replies in this respectthe steps taken by Eurojust to reduce the problems related to staff recruitment and the programming of procurements;
