Insists on the need for a European industrial policy in the field of civil security in the EU, given the fragmentation of this market; recommends that aid to SME/SMIs should be increased, as they are a core driver of innovation and economic recovery, and that efforts should be made to stimulate cooperation between European enterprises; wishes to see the emergence of a comprehensive project management able to manage all aspects of CBRN security projects;
