Stresses that the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) proposed by the Commission as part of the Juncker Investment Plan for Europe should give priority totarget sustainable transport infrastructure projects that deliver high societal and economic value, and target projects that promote job creation, long-term growth and compeare in line with the European transport policy goals and deliver high societal and economic value, and give priority to projects with the highest impact on job creation, long-term growth, competitiveness and the achievement of the EU 2020 objectives; encourages the Commission and Member States to keep the EFSI initiativeness in full line with the recently decided Regulations on CEF and TEN-T and put priority on European added-value and minimising external costs from climate change; the focus should lie on synergy projects and horizontal priorities, as defined in the CEF Regulation;
