Stresses the need for the Commission, in times of scarce financial resources, to assess the effectiveness and sustainability of measures funded through the EGF, in cooperation with the Member States; notes that standardised criteria are to be developed for this purpose, such as completion of skills development measures, success in terms of finding a new job and duration of the new employment contract;
