Takes note ofRegrets the trend in mining to turn to lower-grade and deeper resources in Europe, which results in the extraction of more material in order to produce the target metal; is very concerned about the process efficiency of chemical processing, as a lower ore/host-rock ratio means that more tailings, and thus mining waste, will be produced per tonne of target metal;
