Welcomes the Agenda for new skills and jobs as part of the 2020 strategy, pointing out that only a workforce that is skilledit is of fundamental importance for the development of a competitive, sustainable and innovative economy that white-collar and blue-collar workers living in the European Union are able to benefit from training throughout their professional careers, allowing them to continually improve their skills;

Calls on the Commission to adopt measures to remove administrative and legal obstacles in order to increase labourthe mobility, both in of white-collar and blue-collar workers, with regard to the recognition of qualifications and in, the portability of pension rights and supplementary pension rights and the portability of rights in respect of public or private health insurance.
