Welcomes the fact that in 2014, the third generation of the EU regulation on public procurement was adopted wiadoption in 2014 of directives on public procurement procedures and the award of concession contracts, which modernised public procurement in the European Union; emphasises the a view to simplifying the 2004 regime and overcoming interpretation problems and heterogeneity in concession contractdded value of the directive on the award of concession contracts, which overcomes the problems and heterogeneity in these contracts, ensures legal certainty, flexibility and transparency, and supports the development of economic infrastructure and high-quality public services;
