Recommends, in the interests of more harmonious cohabitation, closer cooperation between universities in the future Mediterranean macro-region and the removal of obstacles to the movement of students and teachers; stresses the need to strengthen euro-Mediterranean university networks by adequately financing and building on the good practices of the Tempus and Erasmus Mundus programmes·
