Highlights that substantial efforts are needed to bring the EU back on track to meet the 20% reindustrialisation target by 2020; calls to strengthen and renew the industrial structure in the European Union in order to increase competitiveness, growth and jobs; emphasises that in order to gain this investments need to be made in digital, energy and transport infrastructure as ell in a longer-term perspective – but not less urgent - in education, research and increasing the skills of workers.
