Notes that disabled children are often cared for by their mothers, who have to cope with medical, educational and administrative procedures, which has an adverse impact on their careers; calls on Member States to make working hours more flexible so that these women are no longer excluded from the job market, and to make provision for special leave, early retirement and various forms of home care;
