Underlines that, despite the EU added value of cultural investment, Creative Europe represents 0.15 % of the overall EU budget, of which only 31 % is earmarked for culture; welcomes the new MFF proposal and the proposed increase in funding as a good first step and calls for a doubling of the budget allocated to the new Creative Europe programme and for making the programme more accessible for smaller organisations;
