Welcomes the fact that combating violence against women, children, and teenagers and promoting gender equality will continue to constitute priorities in the 2014-2020 period, but fears that the Commission’s proposal to merge three distinct programmes into one single programme will translate into a lower profile and a reduced budget for the Daphne programme;
