(5) To ensure the quality, and, in particular, the comparability, of data provided by the Member States, and for reliable overviews to be drawn up at Union level, the data used should be based on the same concepts, and should refer to the same reference date or period. The data should be disaggregated by gender and age, and include a focus on information related to the asylum procedure and human trafficking; with a particular emphasis on the issue of gender on decision-making.
