Welcomes the promotion of CSR internationally, and calls on the Commission to integrate CSR better in its trade policies and to draw up more binding rules for European companies operating in developing countries directly or through subcontractors, emphasising in particular the role that workers’ representatives should play and the importance of social dialogue;
