Encourages the Member States to introduce measures to support parents, for example entitlement to additional allowances and tax or social relief for in- company crèches; likewise, encourages exchanges of proven good practice through the European Alliance for Families; calls on the Member States to implement systems of incentives enabling workers to take full-time or part-time leave to care for their children, and to find their acquired rights intact when they return to the company;
