As sexual violence, mostly victimizing women and children, is particularly aggravated due to, and among others, the gender divergence, the propagation of violence in general but mainly in the form of militarization of society and the breakdown of societal structure, particular attention should be placed and resources deployed in the prevention of such war crime.
