EConsiders that the most important aim is to keep workers in the labour market; encourages the Member States to develop active intervention policies giving workers who re-enter the labour market an entitlement to individual support during the period strictly necessary for them to become more employable through training and requalification; unemployed people should re-enter the labour market quickly even if their contracts are atypical, the most important consideration being to keep people in the labour market;
