Calls on the Commission to guarantee a comprehensive implementation of flexicurity principles, and to address labour market segmentation, by providing both adequate social protection coverage for people in periods of transition, or on temporary or part-time employment contracts, and access to training, career development and full-time work possibilities; encourages Member States to invest in services – such as childcare and all-day school places – that help promote gender quality, foster better work–life balance and encourage inactive and lone parents to work;
