(10a) The United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the Union will have an impact on the United Kingdom’s and the Union’s relations with third countries which are at present parties to a bilateral free trade agreement with the European Union of 28 members. The Commission should also deal with this issue in order to ensure legal certainty for economic operators and avoid surplus tariff quotas which could destabilise the EU27 market.
