The European Parliament adopted a decision concerning eligibility for membership of the bureau of a committee (interpretation of Rule 191(1) of Parliament’s Rules of Procedure).

Parliament decided to append the following interpretation to Rule 191(1) of its Rules of Procedure:

“Only full members of a committee who have been elected in accordance with Rule 186 may be elected to the bureau of that committee.”
