Considers that in certain cases any reduction in permitted journey times of travel, as is currently outlined in Annex 1, Chapter V of Regulation (EC) 1/2005, would not be viable, and therefore consideration should be given in cases where geographical circumstances and rural isolation require the transport of live animals over land and/or sea for further production or slaughter;
