1a. Deplores the fact that the findings of previous internal evaluations have not been published and that the EED’s track record is, therefore, difficult to assess objectively; calls on the EED to publish the findings and recommendations of internal and external evaluations, in keeping with the principle of full transparency and in order to make an objective assessment of its work possible;

Points out how important it is, given the large number of international donors funding civil society organisations, in particular in the countries of the Arab Spring, that through its activities the EED should seek to close funding gaps left by other donors, in order to generate real value added for local organisations and establish itself as a reliable partner;
