Notes with concern the continued shortage of women holdgender imbalance ing senior and middle management posts (only 3i.e. 30 % / 70 % in senior management); notes also the geographic imbalance in the senior and middle management posts, in particular the shortage of staff from the eastern countries; calls on the Committee for those imbalances to be corrected and the results communicated to Parliament as quickly as possibleto take action to correct those imbalances and report back to the discharge authority on the measures taken, and furthermore on the results achieved;

Takes note that, according to the Committee’s rules of procedure, its members are completely independent in the performance of their duties, in the general interest of the Union; notes that the declarations of interests of the members are available on the Committee’s website; invites the Committee also to set up the lobbyists’ register on its website and by doing so make all meetings between the Committee’s members and third parties public;
