Believes, therefore, that it might be relevant in the implementation of the Ecodesign Directive – in addition to continued efforts to improve energy efficiency – must nowto address the full life cycle of the products within its scope, with the setting up of minimum resource criteria covering, inter alia, robustness, repairability and upgradeability, but also sharing potential,. Moreover it is important to develop requirements to enhance resource efficiency measures and to promote environmental prevention principles by re-use, scalability, recyclability and use of recycled materialsrecovery, remanufacturing and recycling of the energy-related products in order to achieve a more Circular Economy;
