Emphasises the importance of providing consumers with realistic, accurate and robust information on their car fuel consumption and air pollutant emissions in order to raise consumers' awareness and support them to take an informed car purchase decision; calls for a revision of the Car Labelling Directive 1999/94/EC which should make information on other air pollutant emissions like NOx and particulate matter mandatory in addition to information on fuel use and CO2;
