Recognizes EPPO as a novel actor equipped with the competence to prosecute criminal offenses against the Union's financial interests, which are often linked to other serious crimes with a cross-border dimension, such as organized crime or terrorism; recalls that EPPO's capacities should allow for the proper performance of its mandate;

Notes that from the non- participating Member States, the EPPO cooperates with Denmark, Hungary and Sweden, but regrets that the work of the EPPO, in particular the evidence gathering, is affected by a lack of cooperation from Ireland and Poland; welcomes the commitment by the Irish authorities to review their working arrangement with the EPPO in 2023;
