Calls on the Commission to work on a clear European legal framework on automated vehicles in order to respond to the technological development trends in the automotive sector and to ensure, that Europe stays the leading car producer and contributes to the technological development and economic growth of the Union; urges the finalisation and launch, as soon as possible, of the remaining satellites, so that the European Galileo positioning system can be used as the default positioning system in automated vehicles;
