Supports the proposed establishment of Rail European Partnership on R&I to build on the success of the Undertaking; highlights the need to explore opportunities for funding of programmes and projects under EU programmes such as Connecting Europe Facility, Digital Europe Plan, European Regional Development Fund and Cohesion Fund, as well as to develop synergies between the new Partnership and existing funding mechanisms;
