Calls forProposes the expression of a renewed commitment by Parliament, the Council and the Commission to gender equality between men and women in the next MFF, by means of a joint declaration attached to the MFF; calls for effective monitoring of the implementation of this declaration in the annual budgetary proceduressuggests that the EU institutions should use this declaration as an opportunity to clarify what they mean by ‘gender equality’ and what makes it different from equality between men and women; calls, if there is no difference between the two concepts, for the term ‘equality between men and women’ to be used instead;
