The OR seabed is a veritable living laboratory of biodiversity; stresses the importance of research and data collection in order to improve knowledge of the ocean; stresses the potential of the OR to serve as veritable scientific portals in their respective environments and calls on the respective Member-States and the Commission to strengthen the support on relevant scientific research projects;
